SYCAP Group AB (publ) obtains full FSA license for offering CFD and Spread Betting

SYCAP Group AB (publ) ("SYCAP"), the financial software and online financial services company, is pleased to announce that Elan Asset Management Ltd ("Elan") has obtained a full FSA license to offer trading in CFD (Contracts For Difference) and Spread Betting. Elan is owned 50 percent by SYCAP (Subject to FSA approval) and 50 percent by Van Der Moolen Holding N.V. (www.vandermoolen.com) ("VDM") through a joint venture between the companies.

SYCAP and VDM will launch CFD trading in Europe during January 2008 by using the software that SYCAP has developed and owns. By launching this service SYCAP will be able to offer the same service that CMC Markets and IG Markets does who are the main companies in this sector and are both trading at a market value of over 15 billion SEK each.

SYCAP and VDM will at the same time launch Spread Betting in the United Kingdom which opens up yet another market with a large potential.

SYCAP is currently conducting a new share offering which will supply the company with extra capital in order to expand its resources in order to act on opportunities that have been presented to the company.
